About the Workshop
"How we are nature."
A workshop about the influence of the earthly rhythm on our being
and the journey we take through the energy centres within the body.
My intention for this workshop is to bring you into very deep connection with your own being as a mirror of nature.
There is something very powerful about rhythms. How the ups, downs and balances are represented in us.
Our whole system is designed to follow the rhythm of the moon, the sun and the universe.
The way the earth travels through space and the way we cycle through our own body is one of the most beautiful metaphores of life.
In this workshop we will put together 1+1 and discover the answer is more than 2.
We will discus the seasonal shifts our planet knows, the main universal energies that those shifts bring and how this is represented in our own body. It will give you an understanding of yourself on a level that goes much deeper than "seasonal living".

Foundations
How it all fits together.
Wheel of the Year
The wheel of the year is a term used to describe a yearly cycle with its seasonal rhythm.
We have 8 important "shift of seasons".
○ Winter Solstice
○ Beginning of Febrary
○ Spring Equinox
○ Beginning of May
○ Summer Solstice
○ Beginning of August
○ Fall Equinox
○ Beginning of November

Chakras
There are many different chakra systems we know from yogic schools. But these are not the only spiritual lineages that speak about "energy centres".
The most important energy centres represent a "journey" you can take in your body and through your everyday life.
The ones I find particulary important in relation with "rhythms of nature" are:
○ Root
○ Sacral
○ Navel
○ Heart
○ Throat
○ Third Eye
○ Crown
○ Aura

What will you learn?
○ Familiarity with the seasons and all 8 shifts.
○ Familiarity with the chakra's/energy centres through different spiritual teachings from all over the world.
○ How the seasons are the perfect metaphor of the spiraling nature of our life.
○ How it all fits together!
○ Powerful tools to understand and work with your being.

About Re-Wild
At Re-Wild Retreats we follow the spiral of the year, the solstices and equinoxes, the dance of the moon, and the old Nordic and Celtic calendar. With our unique concept of Kundalini X Paganism, we offer a guiding hand on your way back to your place in nature, your re-wilding journey.
Following the road from our ancient Indo-European roots, we walk the path from yoga into deep connection with our own soil through European spirituality. Our approach is deeply animistic; we honour the nature beings, the old gods, and the universe that is within us and all. We work with ritual and ceremony, the sacred drum, and the secrets buried in our spine to free ourselves and come home.
We welcome you to journey with us.
What if you got the chance to resynchronise yourself and claim your rightful place in the cycle of life and universe?
Would you take it?
Kundalini X Paganism?
Do you want to learn more about this (maybe strange) concept?
I promise you are going to like it ♥!

About Ellen
Ellen has a deep passion for yoga and for the connection between humans and nature. After moving to Iceland and later to Norway, she began exploring yoga as a tool for self-discovery, balance, and connection with something greater than ourselves. In meeting the wild Nordic landscapes, her wish grew to weave together yogic wisdom with European, earth-based spirituality.
Through the concept Kundalini X Paganism, Ellen creates a space where we can follow the rhythms of nature and rediscover our place in the circle of life. She uses yoga, breath, ritual, and connection with the elements as pathways to inner peace and outer belonging.
Ellen wishes to inspire others to live more in tune with nature, to find balance within themselves, and to remember that we are all part of the same living whole.
FAQ
In what language will the workshop be?
English.
However, I do speak Norwegian, so you don't have to speak english at all, you can ask me anything in Norwegian. If there is english terms used that you do not understand, then we will find you a Norwegian translation!
Will we be doing yoga?
No, this workshop will be largely a theoretical experience. We will have some small movement spread throughout, but most of the time you will find yourself still on your mat. You will be encouraged to use as many props (pillows etc.) as you like to make sure you are comfortable for 3 hours.
If you are worried about this or have mobility problems and you would still like to join, let me know so that we can work out accomodations for you!
What if I'm not really into Esotericism/Spirituality,
will I still benefit from this workshop?
Yes.
You don't have to believe in Fairies to understand the journey our energy and body takes throughout the seasons.
What should I bring?
I will provide tea and some snacks, but it is still a good idea to take a bottle of water with you.
A notebook might also be nice if you want to write down any information or experiences.
